Both the brightness and the resolution on this panel are terrible.
12" MacBooks from 8 years ago have higher resolution displays than this! I own a 14" FHD Thinkpad and the low pixel density is very noticeable. Would be even more noticeable on a 15.6" panel.

Resolution isn't everything…

Yet there is still no MacBook with an OLED screen... OLED for me matters way more than resolution. Plus benefits battery life. Depends what you use it for but we survived on qhd for a very long time.
I dont like RAM on this to upgrade mine. Overall it is pretty solid though.
Oh don't get me started with chinese OLEDs. Some people don't mind the pink-colored "N" for Netflix and I am thinking: WTF is the point of OLED if it is showing diluted colors no matter how much you change saturation?! I just think over-saturation is AMOLED is a godsend, you can ALWAYS tone it down to your liking but with a cheap OLED you aren't gonna be able to dial up the saturation that your eye thinks it is acceptable. So yeah, either AMOLED or pink "N" for Netflix OLED. Look, that "N" isn't supposed to be anywhere near pink!
