I'd get kobalt over craftsman tbh. I think their lineup is better

That's a nice little deal. The batteries alone will run you ~$50. I did get an off brand one on Amazon for like $30 but it does not last as long as the Stanley ones. I have the leaf blower, string trimmer hedge trimmer and tree pruner. No complaints but for any application I would recommend a few batteries.

These Craftsman brushed models have been out for about 7 years now. And they were meh even back then.

You're getting a lot more tool for your money with the DeWalt deal. And that Craftsman flashlight doesn't really count as a "tool'. It's worth maybe $10.

Going on my second year with this exact combo (except it came with an additional 4.0 battery) and am satisfied at this price point and performance. For a tradesman I would invest in something more expensive but as a homeowner they all work well. Been running the reciprocating saw for 3 hours a day for the past 5 days clearing out vines from my property, built a lean-to, sanded my walls to prep for paint and other small projects and nothing has failed and the battery life is good. The flashlight has proven more useful than I thought it would as well.

I'm team Ridgid for the lifetime warranty but that's a great deal.
