In for a set. I had to leave most of my bumpers in a long distance move last year. These probably aren't as nice as the American Barbell that I left behind, but weight is weight.

In b4. I owned these. And a set of dumbbells by the same manufacturer.

Yes they may sell like rubber. Yes they will or could be a slight oil residue.

I wipe them down and let them sit in the sun for a couple days and they are perfect after.

The 10s can be a little flimsy They are perfect for supplemental weight in the bar but I would not recommending dropping them from any significant height without having larger weights to support them.

I have not checked my own weights but others said they may not be exactly the weight specified. One thing to note these are not calibrated. A thing to note is you can't even look at a calibrated weight set at this price so it's shouldn't even be part of the consideration.

so there could be a small variance in product weight nothing I've noted as significant or limiting in my lifting.

I bought 400lbs worth of these plus the barbell towards the end of last year when they were going down every other day. On average I paid between 50-65¢ /lb and about $45 for the barbell. Weight is weight at this price and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The plates are overall great considering the price. They came with some scratches and dings on them but who cares, tools not jewels.
I did have an issue where some of the 10s had mishappen center holes and wouldn't fit on the bar. It was a pain, but I got them replaced with no further issues.

The bar is, to be frank, a piece of garbage. The chrome flakes off the sleeves, the bearings are crappy, the knurling is soft. But it holds plates and goes up and down when I lift it.

If you are on a budget but want to start your home gym, this is absolutely the way to go

I ordered a similar set that comes with the barbell. Says its 5 boxes. However, I received a notification that there is a delay in shipping!!! Was supposed to arrive yesterday.

Oh man I got the bar and weights deal too and haven't unboxed the bar yet (still clearing space for the gym). I wasn't expecting a $300+ bar but reviews were alright so I was holding out hope.

well its more than just being on a budget, its not having to waste time waiting for that station, or being ashamed that i can curl more than i can squat, or having everyone looking at your bottom when you're squatting and can't do anything about it except pass gass in exertion which makes everyone laugh lightens the mood... until they smell that protein drink that i drank for lunch. But anyways, in case anyone missed what this means... these are finally less than $1 a lb which means america is great again and soon steak prices will also be dropping and eggs I'l be able to afford yummier protien sources than beans and chicken breasts. Maybe the world will turn right sde up cause it's upside down now with chicken thighs costing more per breasts and wings being the cash crop of the chicken. Col Sanders woudnt have beleived it when he was bioengineering thos KFc chickens to have 3 breasts, when it ws far easier to import the ones with multiple legs and wings from Russia. Maybe milk will get cheaper too cause i love to drink some milk, eventhough its a trigger for my cookie, cake and pie addiction, but i put whey powder olive oil and a dash of mct oil n those, a dash of my electrolyte mix (magnesium, potassium, sodium, caffeine, tadalafil) which makes them healthy. Anyways, get these cause less than $1i is a good deal and after you lift them over yourhead, you can just drop them without needing a pad, just pitch forward a little and step back a little so they don't bounce up on ya.

Ordered these last time and my FedEx driver just tossed them in my driveway, didn't even bother setting them in one spot, just all over in a 6 foot radius

Barbell is one of the things you should just spend the little extra money on for a quality one. Doesn't have to be the most expense, but a good solid one is only a little more expensive and can be used for years with a ton of different exercises.
