Is this ssd good for Tesla Sentry, enough storage capacity, can withstand extreme heat/cold, compact enough for glovebox. New MYLR owner so any help would be helpful from Tesla experts, TY

There are tons of 1 TB bare SSD drives to choose from for around $50.

Look, I'll say it.

1050 MB/s.

Slick deals have been stuck at this metric for 3 years straight, while non-enclosure drives have been shooting into outerspace with 2,500, 5,000, 7,500, and now 10,000 MB/s drives (of course, thanks in part to pcie generation leaps etc).

Maybe I'm just naive, but, what is stopping USB C 3.2 Gen 2 from performing at it's native maximum of 2500 MB/s? 10% overhead I'd believe, but 60%? No way. Are they just tossing crap drives from 3 years ago into these or what?

Somebody needs to bitchslap and fire the guy naming these usb standards. What's wrong with naming it usb 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, etc instead if this whole 1x1, 2x2 bs?

Cost, 20/40Gbps enclosures are still expensive, and frankly most people have barely caught up to having a 10Gbps port.

Also heat, you aren't going to dissapate enough for that speed without a very large and expensive passive heatsink.

Not able to get that price unless I join prime. Please indicate that in the description next time. Prime is NEVER an option for me.

Crucial for a couple bucks more and smaller. Why go with this no-name?
