OMG, that's what happened when the Chinese learned the drop stitch technology. Otherwise, it would be $699.

These things keep getting cheaper and cheaper. $69 for one of the kits. I wonder if we'll see $40 soon

How can they cover their shipping cost? The whole package is at least 30lbs!

10.6 Sport is best option hence it's more expensive but still available

I would take the touring over it, but that's only if the touring actually is a good design in practice. In theory it'll give you more speed (assuming it's balanced correctly with the design). But, yeah, you are trading stability for it. So if you want something that's easy to stand on, the Sport is preferable. Really depends on your level and what you want.

I have a 12'2 with an aggressive touring design (I wouldn't call either of these actual touring sups) and it's definitely better in performance than my older SUP that was more about stability.

If it was the Body Glove Performer 11, that's a substantially higher quality board. Thing is with Body Glove is they will repair or replace even if out of warranty if defective. I have two of their boards, 2018 and 2021, and both heavily used here in CA and not one issue. I also have 2 other more expensive boards but their build quality is no better.

a 11'6" x36" is substantially more stable vs the 10'6" x 33" board. More length and width=more stability and more speed if width is the same. I've been in the sport for 10+ years and for anyone pushing 200lbs, go with a 11' minimum length for better speed, stability, and more room for gear. Performance of these budget boards vs a $800 board is close in performance as this completely depends on one's skills. My Red paddle board at 11'3" is a bit faster than my 11'6" POP El Capitan since the Red is 32" wide vs 36" on the El Cap. The Red is very stiff and it's due to higher construction and 20psi vs 15psi. I ordered the touring and at this price, it's a no brainer. My nephew's wife owns a yoga studio and I think she ordered 3, but don't know what model.

I think recent $200 deal for Bodyglove 11 x 34 board from Costco is sweet spot if you want speed/stability but these cheap boards will do great for kids

agree, and great starter boards and for kids or adults as it's all most people will need. At this price, just buy it. Rental boards here in N Cal run $65 for a day. Friend owns this store in Folsom and she knows her stuff. The nice thing about a rental board is knowing how it performs before buying. supcalifornia.com/pages/book-now

Has anyone received their paddle board? I ordered mine a week ago and my account says it delivers today. However when I called Woot (excellent c/s BTW) to check on carrier info the rep said it has not shipped. She offered a quick refund today but I told her I would wait until Monday to see if it ships.
