I've had a half dozen of these chairs for a decade or so—at least far enough back that the normal price was $5. They're pretty bad, but not bad enough to replace. I bought a couple of Academy's $5 chairs at the same time and they have held up noticeably better in terms of comfort and appearance, though it's not like they're amazing, either. Still, none of the chairs (of either brand) have broken despite years of abuse.

For $7 this is fine choice for a chair you keep in the trunk and go months or years without needing. But get something better if you're car camping every weekend.
