Some people fail to understand the show which criticize it, most who did call it a masterpiece or one of the best anime's ever. You can even say you can compare it to real life, in our world we have wars/hate/manipulation. There's no "good" or "evil" if you're trying to protect what's most precious to you at all cost (family) I could go on and on but don't want to spoil anything to those who hasn't watched the show, to me it was a perfect anime.
so excited to finally watch this. on my list for after im caught up with Solo Leveling

Incredible anime. I feel that the show examines themes of war, classism, freedom, and fascism (at times recognizing the allure and other times strongly rejecting it). The action and artistry is top of class. Every season gets better and opens up the world even more. Every discovery of what the titans are capable of or the origins of the conflict is a delight. In terms of quality and memorability, I put it up there with Evangelion and Death Note.

That's the thing. You enjoy that message and genre of anime. Most people who were watching were more interested in a post apocalyptic anime with a supernatural war against monsters. When it switches to being humans bad, most people already have heard or seen tons of that story. At least to me it was boring

Thats when it got interesting to me, I already had too much walking dead when it first came out so wasn't that into it till maybe mid of 2nd season

Just a difference of opinion then. I just wasn't looking for a humanity war story at the time so when it flipped to that I just tuned out. Which turned out to be a good idea because that final arc was awful writing.

Bullshit lol. All the seasons are so good. If anything it just got better??
This. For years the manga readers screamed to everyone how horrible the ending was. Since the ending of the show was years away, all we could do was take their word for it. When the final episode of the show finally came out, not only was not horrible, it was great. Confused, people took to the internet 'where's this horrible ending?' and we got no answers. All of the Manga criticizers disappeared like ghosts. Zero accountability.

I hate how to this day people complain about a horrible ending that doesn't exist and that the damage they did to the brand still exists.

What are you talking about? Im right here and I say the ending was pure unadulterated garbage. The amount of plot holes and retcons that resulted in that disgrace will forever live in infamy.

It's a great series. It took 5 or 6 episodes for me to get into. Usually, if I'm not hooked by the first 2 or 3 episodes, I'll cut my losses, and I nearly dropped this one. But the overwhelming positive reviews encouraged me to keep going. I'm glad I did!

I was interested in the show but the way the blurays were sold made me avoid it. They were expensive as hell and there was like part 1,2,3 of each season. Are these actually just those different parts all together like a normal show now?
