Yes, it's fine in the rain (store the cushions when it does rain)….heavy wind will blow it bc it's lightweight. The sun is its worst enemy though and likely would only last a few seasons if in direct sun all the time.
I'm looking at some of the ones Costco has on sale for like $1,300. It's hard to justify spending that much on patio furniture but I don't want something cheap. Any suggestions for something in the middle?

Lowe's Allen roth series has some good collection in mid range though I have not used them personally
