Looks like girls bike or girl's preferred color based on the video for the 75$ mongoose bike. Wish some other color was on sale for my son.

Ugly to you? They were all the rage when I was a kid. Still think they look very cool, I wager most kids would agree.

Words matter. I said "those" mags. They look terrible. They're also aluminum, so should be heavier.

All the mags in the 80's were made by Skyway (US) and OGK (Japan) and were types of nylon/plastic. Those did look good. I've owned them.

This was the bike to have growing up in the 80s. My best friend had a sea green mongoose not too different in color from this teal one that i was so jealous of. Ordered for my son but i do wonder if he'll think it's girly. I may have to return
