From great looking designs of amplifiers that would cost an arm and leg and last a couple years before dying, to...2025...BLUETOOTH SPEAKERs for $100
How can you go wrong!
LOL (in reality...so sad for a brand with such potential. At least JBL is still relevant, to a degree)
Looks kinda like the Apple speakers...or was it HK years back that had a 3 way computer speaker system setup that looks like this?
Also, does turning OFF the AMBIENT LIGHT actually do anything? When I turn it off, it literally turns back on again 5 secs later if there is no audio playing.

Some of my music sounded great on it. I tried some punk, post punk, metal, grunge, synth pop. Bassier stuff for a party situation sounded great. Distorted music sounded good, loud, and filled the room.
More high-fi type stuff.. my acoustic, classical, Americana, Bluegrass, world music sounded tinny, wispy, bass where you didn't want it.. especially with female vocals.
I much preferred the sound spectrum I get using bookshelf computer speakers with a sub which you should be able to find for a similar price. I think the other HK, the Onyx, is probably a better fit for some of my music. I ended up spending more and getting the Klipsch fives which isn't a fair comparison at this $100 price but they are much better than this at full price.
I think an equalizer would solve a lot of my complaints.
The Bluetooth connection would cut in and out. I called HK and wanted to return for a full refund.
They offered an exchange but since the HK Aura Studio 3 was out of stock they offered me the HK Aura Studio 4.
Studio 4 was perfect! way better than the Studio 3. No issues with Bluetooth.

I have this and the Onyx. You are spot on. For style and setting a scene in a space... this works well. For sound quality, I prefer the Onyx.
Pros: Cheap, very good sound for its price, Harman Kardon is more bass centric. I have Karman (subs, tweeters, speakers) in my car and they do not disappoint. This product is an excellent buy for a speaker that is more focused on bass, less about acoustics, is LOUD and will fill the room and has serious bass for this something this small. Can connect to two bluetooth sources (computer, phone etc). You can adjust the EQ on your phone or computer and its all good and can eliminate the very bass notes.
Cons: You can never turn the lights fully off. Even with the lights button, it will only temporarily turn them off, but once the music stops, back to the lights again. Might have too much bass for a small room or if you live in a small place, your neighbors might complain as the bass will echo through.
Loud settings when you first adjust it. It doesnt save the sound volume.
I dont think its worth its MSRP of 300, or even 200, but for 100 its a great deal. Instead of bringing a portable bluetooth speaker at a campsite, bring this and a power source.
