If you find them too quiet (I did) enable "volume booster" profile in the Soundcore app. Increases the ouput by about 40% without a noticable difference in quality. Bass is always going to be lacking, but it's an open ear design so not much you can do to beat physics. Music sounds surprisingly good in quiet environments and they are perfect for podcasts / audiobooks. Call quality is VERY good too! The first time my sister hasn't complained about me using earbuds when we talk.
Again, these do not excel in noisy environments like a subway or a busy city; but for around the house, at work, or on a walk in a park or suburban neighborhood they are amazing.

What are your thoughts on the three-year warranty for $8 on these?

Also, to stay somewhat on topic I have the v30i and those ones are just meh for me compared to the Baseus, but for $30 maybe I need to try out the v20i
Do you find the battery drains on your Baseus MC1's about 10% an hour even with little use and it is just on your ear connected to your phones bluetooth in standby mode waiting for use?
You can change this setting with the app. There are multiple options, including "never shut off". 30 minutes is just the default setting. It is in a weird place in the app though. Have to click the gear icon in the top right from the main screen.

1. No option to mute a call from earbuds itself. It is a big deal personally for me as primary purpose is work calls as working remotely and prefer walking around without phone in hand to mute/unmute from earbuds itself leaving teams/zoom unmuted.
2. Adjustable ear loop has to be reset to original position before storing back buds in case.
3. No option to wake up buds without putting back in case beside leaving it always active (and consuming battery) by changing the setting to "never shut off".
Though I would admit I like the fact each earbud can be configured and be used with all supported functions individually unlike way costly Shokz OpeAir2 ($179). Tried that as well as it has option to Mute from ear buds but need both earbuds for it work and would continuously play an annoying beep that it is on mute.
I have been using Jabra' elite 7 (not an open ear) for long time till I lost one ear bud. Now looking to go open ear that has similiar funtions (beside Apple airpods). Any suggestions welcome.
