small rant incoming, they been working great BUT, I created a minor headache due to user error
somehow via doing them one at a time in different rooms weeks apart I forgot what user account I signed up with the sylvania smart wifi account you do for the first setup before you hand them off to Google, Alexa w/ Amazon, or Siri with Apple
so I been using 4 of them but 1 is not functional for I installed it at a different time, lost the password, and their supposedly is a way you can reset them via turning them off and on in a certain sequence and then I can add them again. Stuff involving having them off for a few seconds turn them on again off again for 10 times aka a few minutes. this is a rant for beside my user errror they have worked fabulously and fidgeting with tech for 15 minutes and it still not working vs just buying more for $8 for Four More is in the zone of annoyance for my frustration levels.
Currently my houston store has more in stock if their website is correct. I was considering buying more myself this very week but it was a low priority so it has not got done with my spring time errands and so on.

EDIT -
They are now on sale for $6 after a 74 cent rebate
California has restrictions on many products. Something like this might be a chemical used in manufacturing but most likely the box that matters was checked or unchecked.
More commonly is water products that don't have flow restrictors like in faucets, shower heads, and toilet valves. I even get it on out door fish cleaning tables with built in sinks.
Other products just don't have the required label to let the consumer know that living may cause cancer and death.
