It will be $350 by end of year. That's a good time to buy.

I built my most recent computer with a i5-12600KF. It was the best bang for the buck at the time. Now I wish I would have gone the AMD route with all the Intel issues. I still always thought I would get a i5-14600KF at some point when it gets cheap, but when the i7-14700K popped up for $211 the other day I decided to jump. I'll be updating my motherboard BIOS and hoping for the best. Pretty sure AMD will be my next PC though.

The 12600kf didn't have any major issues. The 14700KF on the other hand. EHHH good cpu while working if a bit hot...

After noticing essentially the same comment in a couple PC related posts I got curious if it was a bot and looked at his recent thread replies, he's got big plans in the coming years. These are all different threads:

I upgrade my CPU every 5 years. So maybe in 3 years this might be my CPU.
I can wait 4 years to drop in price to $300. You save $500
i'll wait 2 years and buy this for $600
I'll wait 4 years, and this will cost $120, I save $400.
save $600 if u buy this used on ebay 4 years later
i'm gonna buy this cpu in 6 years when it cost $150 used on ebay
i'll buy these used for $80 on ebay 5 years later
i might buy this monitor used in 5 years when OLED becomes mainstream, for $250 used
