Seems like a lot considering you could buy the C1000 for ~450 not long ago...for this price you could buy two. Plus, Anker's solar panels are overpriced for what they are.

Wondering if that would be the way to go myself. Could use one unit until depleted and swap in the other fully charged one while charging the original. Not sure how the extra battery works with the base unit. Can you discharge just from the base unit then connect the extra battery to continue or do they have to be used as a pair. If so, your solution seems better.With the combo kit here it seems you are getting the solar panel for about another $100.

Without the solar panel the power station and expansion battery is $869. With the 200w solar panel, it's now $2347. $1478 for the solar panel is hilarious.
