Glued-sawdust furniture is always a bit questionable, but if one has to buy it I think's probably worthwhile to try to find something like this with a metal frame. Having a metal frame goes a long way in improving durability, and if the MDF top of the desk starts to droop or has its veneer worn away over time you can always fairly cheaply replace it with something more solid like a slab of wooden countertop at some point down the road.

"You save $600.09" is insane, but a decent desk under $100 - AND shipped - is definitely a deal nowadays. No way to tell what the quality is like, but if you have a need, I'd buy before they change the price.

For what it's worth, Sauder themselves and Home Depot sell this desk for A LOT more.

Exactly that's why I took a chance on it. I noticed it has a higher retail value a lot of places so it's probably fairly durable. I also picked up that table that was listed the other day for $125 they both have the same finish. Hopefully I made the right move.
