lol lower sugar because it's a 22% smaller package
The existence of this product drives me crazy, because I really would like an option that's less sweetened. Instead, they just replaced some of the sugar with monk fruit extract so that it's technically lower sugar but still super sweet.

Why can they not just offer a less sweet variety?
It is a smaller package when compared to the normal 43g pouch, but the sugar amount is more than a 22% reduction.

43g pouch has 12g of sugar (Maple Brown flavor)
the 34g pouch (reduced sugar) has only 4g of sugar (same flavor), WHILE keeping the same amount of Fiber at 3g (which is a bonus).

It's best to actually look at the sugar amounts, rather than just looking at the size, and making an assumption on that alone, so you don't reveal yourself as foolish.

If you're a regular Costco shopper their Quaker 52 variety pack is around $10.99 in-store. (Normal sugar variety)

zero sugar added would be a good deal. Oats has sugars anyways, although less.

"Lower sugar" still means contains 2 farking sugar packets of added sugar FOR NO REASON.

You know what literally every household has? A god damn sugar shaker. We can sweeten it ourselves to taste!

Good deal, but I already have enough and prefer fewer per box. Walmart has less qty box and none of the plain variety in the box with the mixed at a similar price even with 15% SS.

Occasionally I like to get the high protein banana variety even though it's not low sugar.

I think that's the point. Who tries to eat grains and not trying to fill up on carbohydrates?
