One thing that often goes overlooked when breaking and entering is eye protection. Pyramex has made their Intruder series with that in mind. Normally when you break a window the glass goes inward, but it just takes one shard to damage your vision. Not to mention when you're ripping out copper pipes, especially from overhead, you've got dust, dirt, and even the occasional splinter falling right on your face.

Would these work for cleaning like when cleaning the toilet and say the floor when you are using things like muriatic acid floor?

Or are those home depot glasses that are posted better for that?

How are these compared to the home depot ones? These you would obviously can't wear over glasses right

Hardly worth $1.50 imo. These cut into the bridge of my nose after one 8 hour shift and just weren't comfortable. I tend to stick with "MCR Safety Glasses BearKat BK3 Lenses With Scratch-Resistant Coating And UV Protection", only $3 and have rubber pads for the nose.

I use these when cutting grass with the mower, ever since I got some clippings in my eye via a strong wind years ago. Good price & do the job. Repped.

Would these be good for the firing range? I'm in search of a pair of glasses that are range safe and do not fog up.

No you should use a full eyewear like you use on a dirt bike or ⛷️
Those droplets of acid or peroxide are sneaky bastards.
I upvoted you. Some red hat down voted you for asking a good question

I wouldn't use those at the range. My husband and I both wear Rx lenses so I bought these to fit over our glasses and have been very happy with them, but I think they would be fine worn as regular safety glasses as well.

Yeah at a minimum for acids (especially strong acids) you want the goggles with the plastic covered vents rather than holes. If you're doing anything more than super brief get the rubber-gasketed type from uvex or something. Both of those options fit over glasses though it's never super convenient or comfortable.

Okay so this isn't good then right if you want to do cleaning in a toilet then since these are very thin? Was confused a bit by your response.

So the goggles from home depot that is posted several times is the one for cleaning right? Any other ones you can recommend?
