High On Life was great and perfect for the Steam Deck. Semi low brow (not crude) humor might bore some. The gun's talking is a little annoying but you can turn that down (or off completely) in the settings. Which seems to be the #1 complaint about the game yet no one makes this simple change that takes 3 seconds....

The Guacamelee! Collection includes both games, so I'm here to say what I always say: Guacamelee! 2 is a top-tier Metroidvania and anyone who likes the genre needs to play it. (Guacamelee! 1 is less rich and refined but still very good. It's not mandatory, but you should at least try it before playing 2.)

If you don't know what a Metroidvania is, but you liked Super Metroid and/or Symphony of the Night, play the Guacamelee! games and make your heart glad.
