This is a killer deal. The cheapest these usually go is around $420 for a used one. I've been waiting for a deal like this. Go freaking figure one pops up after I just spent $500 on a Mac Mini.

Might need to file some fret ends. Easy to do. But these Wolfgang deals are killer. It lacks the Fr1000 trem but pickups same as the special. My favorite set out of my 38 guitars is the Wolfgang pickups.

Color is too close to my new 70th anniv strat i got. Damn this seems like a killer deal too, these were going for 500 last week. This would have been an instant buy for me if i was able to get it in any other color

Not the one I got. I received both the '78 Eruption relic and the Wolfgang Standard yesterday. The WG standard far exceeds the relic in quality and sound. Maybe I got a bad Eruption relic? The relic job and looking like EVH's guitar is awesome. But, the frets are awful and sharp making the neck feel like a cheese grater. Plus, I don't think mine is new. The box wasn't sealed and there were scratches and fingerprints already on the pickguard. It also went out of tune in only a few minutes of testing. It's definitely going back, just not sure if want to try another. But man, this WG standard is really nice and sounds terrific.

Oof. That surprises me. Somewhat. They usually feel like a nice worn in glove. Sadly, i think they built most of the recent ones in a more humid climate. I have rarely every gotten one with fret sprout outside of a cheap squier. But in the last year I've gotten a Jackson Pro Plus Soloist (stainless steel, like a $1400 guitar), two Wolfgang Special Quilts, a Charvel PJ bass, and had to run a file down all of them. Annoying. Four guitars that retail for over $1000 each.
