I'm curious, will they be banning lead weights, jigs, etc.? Which state? I live in CA and that seems like something my state would do (especially since I have piles of lead)...

So I am in the north east, NH and Maine have started along this path to ban the sale and use of lead under 1oz (sinkers and jigs) to protect Loons. I believe there already is a California law banning 1/2 ounce lead (or lighter).

I don't actually see the material listed. I thought they were phasing it out a long time ago. I remember seeing non lead clip on weights 20 years ago.

Yea everyone is starting to move to Tungsten. Prices are starting to come down on them but still more expensive than lead

Thankfully nothing in the CA regs yet for banning the use of lead for fishing (all hunting ammo has to be non-lead though). Good thing. I've still got quite a bit of lead based sinkers and jigs...
