I was an avid Kinvara user for years, but something is different with the 14s - these shoes gave me bad plantar fasciitis which I've been trying to fend off for 6 months. Found this review after the fact - https://www.solereview.com/saucon...14-review/
In for a highlighter yellow pair. I've been running in this model since Kinvara 9. It's slowly becoming more aggressive by the year. It blurs the line between everyday runs and tempo runs. It can do a lot. But I did like older models better. Saucony confused things even further with the Kinvara Pro model. If you don't have a huge arsenal of shoes, this is a good one to pick up but it doesn't really fit any niche better than other models.

I'm loyal to this model because last year's models usually go on sale for a good discount and the colors are fun, but as I've built out my running shoe collection I'm just about ready to start trying other brands. I do like the minimal drop height.

Right now, I only run in 4/5 pairs of Saucony's with the exception of my marathon shoes (Adidas). Other models I run are Endorphin Speed 2 (2 pairs), Kinvara 12, Kinvara 13, Endorphin Pro 2, and Triumph 20.

Edit* Started my return process. Shoes must be returned unused, e.g. never ran in. I put these on and even before going on a run I was feeling tightness near the right pinky toe knuckle where the tongue of the shoe is attached. I've had this tightness in other brand shoes before like Nikes and Hokas but never on a pair of Sauconys. After reading several other comments about how this model strayed from the predecessors, it may be time for me to abandon the Kinvara line.
4mm heel drop incase anyone is wondering. I bought these a month ago for treadmill running. Narrower toebox than im used to - coming from Altra, but been decent otherwise.

These are pretty minimalistic shoes. They are probably too minimal for general workouts. They would provide no support for the movements required in tennis (I've tried this in prior versions). They're great for short runs, and I've used them up to 8 miles. However depending on what you prefer, I think most users would want a beefier shoe.

I'd shy away from running shoes in general for tennis purposes, and depending on what you do in the gym, maybe for that as well.

Yep, the Kinvara has a dedicated fan base for good reason, but they're certainly not all-purpose shoes. For those looking for a low-ish stack and minimal drop for speed workouts, it's arguably the best value among the major running shoe companies.

I think they discontinued the Kinvara Pro because it bore virtually no relation to Kinvara.

For those wondering why someone would want lower stack and smaller drop, research seems to indicate that higher stack and drop can lead to more common and/or serious injuries. I like to have a small rotation of shoes of varying stacks, drops, and other features, to kind of spread stress around on the body instead of focusing it all on one place, as many running researchers and physical therapists advise.

Important: do NOT buy this if you typically need a stability shoe. A running-specialized physical therapist can tell you whether this applies to you by analyzing your running gait and sometimes the wear on your current shoes. Do NOT just go by what a shoe salesperson says.

Looks like the engineers forgot to design and include any decent tread. I think I will pass.

These are a pass. I've run in every model since the 5 and these are terrible. I don't dare get technical (read other comments for that), but they will make your feet hurt.
If anyone has taken the dive on the 15 and wants to chime in, I would appreciate it. By appearance online they look like the same mistake the 14 was.

Yeesh, they're still using PWRRUN (EVA) as the primary midsole foam in these? What year is it?

One of my slickest deals off this website was Kinvara 13s for $35 or something 2 years ago. Great shoes, still running in them today

They have minimal rubber and a lot of exposed foam on the outsole, which I'd think would be pretty bad for tennis.
