Yep, these are really nice, and this is an incredible price. I have two of them from the BIG Energizer blowout back in '22.
Very recommended for camping and power outages.
Note that this is micro-USB charged, unless they updated that recently which I doubt.

Bright lantern. Comes with no instructions. From the Q&A:
1. Press 1 time for cool white light.
2. Press 2 times for warm white light.
3. Press 3 times for cool and warm white together.
4. Press 4 times for strobe.
Press and hold to dim the light at any mode except strobe.
After light has been on for 2 seconds, the next press will be off. No need to cycle through all modes.
Can you turn the emergency light off? I bought a lantern like this where you couldn't turn the emergency light off so it was annoying getting a red blinking light every minute you couldn't turn off.
I got one of these in that "22 Energizer sale. It has a great warm mode that is not so harsh when out camping. Remember you're not looking for the brightest light when you're out camping, you just want something that's bright enough and easy to be around.
I've been using a Rayovac LED model since 2013 that runs solely off of x3 D cells at 350 lumens. That brightness has been more than sufficient for my needs. In fact more often than not, I dial it down to the low setting.
My only real gripe is that it only has one color temp, which is quite further toward the 'cool' (blue) side than neutral, and I hate that. Usually I want warm tones, unless I'm setting up a tent or doing something work-related.
I think this will be a nice upgrade, with the old disposable D cell model serving as a nice backup. The advantage of the disposable D cells is that they give far more 'on' time without needing to recharge or replace. I'm still using the same cells I bought over 10 years ago, and probably have at least 40 hours of 'on' time with those. I think it's nice to have both options. I'd take the D cell model for a week-long off-grid campout, for instance.
These comments are so fake. Go back and read them in previous sale posts. Just copy and paste the title into the main search bar it will show all the previous sales.
They are the same users obviously it's a marketing team hyping it up. Note the old guy that brings up Energizer Blow Out Sale of 2022 EVERY TIME!

I bought several two pack small rechargeable lanterns from Sam's club on clearance for $6 from local store in atlanta. Each store had different price but I picked the one with lowest price paying $3 per lantern- members mark ( Sam's club brand). Amazing bright lanterns.

thanks Mr. Snoop for directions.. it was almost too bright to test so I pressed 2 times and held for even dimmer. Detachable lens for direct light.. Love the USB power out too. I ordered another one after trying it out... one for the BBQ since porch light is too low.
As great as this light is... and low price... for me it's a hard pass because of Micro-USB.
I've used adapters in the past, but just avoiding needing them to begin with is my recommendation.
These are great little lanterns, I've had two of them 3 years and they get a lot of use from the kids. The 2x38650 batteries hold up (tandem shrink pack) and the dimmable warm light feature is wonderful. That said, the micro USB port is extra deep, and requires you hold on to the court that it comes with. That is super annoying.... And a big market against it.

If you're ok with micro-USB, buy it!
