If you still have an OG physical disc with CD key both EA and Crytek will tell you to pound sand if you ask for them to provide you with a modern way (like a key to use on an active DRM platform) to access your paid game....don't ask me how I know

Great game though, recently repurchased the trilogy via a bundle. 1 holds up much better than 2 or 3 which are far too scripted thus strayed from what made Crysis 1 so amazing. They are still great games if not measured against the 1st through.

Sadly we'll never see Crysis 4. The conpany is in shambles and I see them closing sooner than later. They made a huge mistake not branching out to mobile gaming. Their business strategy was very expensive.

Thanks OP! This is a good deal, so I'll probably pick up the remastered version. Also, if you already own the 2007 Crysis game, it is amazing in VR. I played it via PCVR using my quest 2, virtual desktop, and the unofficial VR mod (https://www.uploadvr.com/crysis-p...w-to-play/). The mod crashes for me every now and then, so save often, and sometimes the cursor on the main menu is finicky, but it's worth it to play an excellent flat2vr conversion.

They make most of their money on Hunt Showdown so that seems to be all they care about

I was under the impression the VR mod would not work with the remastered version. Have you tried? I really would only want it for VR at this point - looks like the original is still listed separately on steam. Hmm.

Only the 2007 version works with VR.

Never put all your eggs in one basket, even I know that. No one will license their game engine at this point. Unreal and unity killed them.

The first game is the only one out of the three that doesn't hold up IMO. I had way more fun with 2 and 3 when I played through them all a year or so ago.
