Are my expectations completely out of reality? This is a two generation old Garmin. The 7 Pro and now the 8 gen have both been released. Who is dropping $500 on this? I get that it's Sapphire and solar, but dang.

You're right it's over priced. Also mip display vs amoled of new ones. Some people insist the mip is better for battery life but after using the amoled I don't know how you could say mip is better for anything.

I guess I'll just keep waiting to upgrade my fenix 6 then. For a long time I could buy the previous gen fenix for like $300-350 when the new one came out, and just keep a one generation old upgrade cycle. I guess that's no longer the case...
