What 3K oled with 32GB of RAM are you looking at? I'll pick that up in a second if you have a link to one.
It's not that hard to tell since it says 16GB right there in the title.

Also, looking at the specs for this model (K3605VU) it appears that is uses DDR4 SODIMMs (not LPDDR) so the memory should be upgradable.

I'm trying to talk myself out too. It's hard. I think the best reason might be that its 4050 is weaker than other 4050 due to it being 50 tgp. Based on the model number, while it does not have oled, it does have a very nice screen at WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 300nits, 100% sRGB color gamut,

Hard to tell, but it appears to have 8 GB soldered. Pass.

I don't see why this is a good deal at all. You can find 4050 for lower. That 13900H is trash in this laptop. It simply won't cool it at all. The screen is pathetic.

$799 can get you a beautiful OLED 3k 16" and 32gb

If you search for memory upgrades for this model number, it seems that the 16GB is not removable but it has one empty SODIMM slot.

seems like an excellent price; would replace my q540vj just for the better gpu and a new battery, save not having the 3k oled!

It's not a bad deal, depending on your use case. From what I can tell, it's a DDR4 8 GB soldered with one upgradable slot. As others have mentioned, the 13900h is very power hungry, runs hot, and will quickly deplete the 70whr battery.

4050 receives more hate than it should and is okay for casual gaming. The 6 GB VRAM will be strained on the new UE5 titles.

With prices creeping up and the 50 series laptops significantly more expensive, I think this is a solid pickup if you need something now and aren't willing to go used or open box. There are not many options for OLED productivity laptops with these specs. Try the 300 Nits before writing it off.
