How about this.... 1 your remote placed low watt device like a battery powered webcam 2 the battery in your car that you don't drive very often but park in sunlight. One of these behind glass in direct sun is how you keep you batteries from going dead. some car manufacturers even put this in many of their vehicles for just that, prevent dead batteries during transport.
