They changed the noodles recently,
It's not the same thick style
They do have a couple different similar varieties. I don't think the one at Costco has the Kuromayu (black garlic), but a spicy pack you add instead. They're both relatively good, but I prefer the spicy one.
The one at Costco is also on sale right now, through the first week of April. I think is was cheaper than this, but not by a lot.

This tastes nothing like Tonkotsu ramen. It's just not good.

If you want Tonkotsu ramen, go for Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu. It tastes very similar to restaurant Tonkotsu.

Just buy a bag of pig trotters at the butcher counter. Boil those and skim repeatedly, and you've got a nice tonkotsu broth in about sixteen hours.

I didn't like their entry-level Tonkotsu at Costco. Returned it.
Instant Ramen type noodles IMO.
Therefore, I am not gonna try.

I like Nissin RAOH Ramen Noodle Soup Tonkotsu.
Noodles are springy and straight. Not a lot of bends like instant ramen.
Broth is rich.
It is more expensive, but I recommend a try.
Walmart sells individual packs for like $2.50.

There are 1,700 reviews that are 4 or higher. I didn't read them all, but I would have to guess that those people LIKE the flavor. Seems odd to pass just because a few people didn't like the flavor. I don't think there is anything on Earth that every person enjoys.

I almost bought that today. I'm glad that I didn't. It's a tiny bit less in-store without shipping, but I told myself I'd wait until it was on sale, and here it is on sale.

Deal worked for me. YMMV. Probably dependent on past subscribe and save orders.
Nongshim good about separating the seasoning/sauce packets from the noodles.
As the video on Amazon shows, these are supposed to be used as a base for a more complete meal.

Thanks for this piece of information! I've never tried the one with the black garlic so definitely will give this a try. My kids are too young to have spicy noodles so whenever I get the one from Costco, it's just my wife and me eating it.

a lot more said it was tasty (x3) than bad. The garlic oil is strong for some people.
129 positive taste, 32 negative taste, 17 negative flavor.

Back on sale by the way... new post about it.. and OOS again.
