I like these just for the noodles and fillings (so much better than Cup Noodles) but I'm not terribly fond of any of the flavors, so I'll add my own seasonings or a leftover seasoning packet from Top Ramen/Maruchan. I do wish I could remember which versions of these come with the narutomaki (red and white spiral fish cake slice), since I've bought several versions of these in the past year and none of them had it. Maybe they just don't put them in anymore. I hadn't bought them for a long time until I got a deal here a year or so ago and started buying them more often again. In the distant past I remember it felt lucky to find one they accidentally put whole bunch of them in.

The Fish Cake AKA Narutomaki can be found in many Asian markets and the Nongshim Hot & Spicy should have the Fish Cakes in it.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure in the past they put them in other varieties too, good to know. This is the silliest flavor name though. Like "sweet and sugary" or "sour and acidic". When I saw it in the store I had to double-take because I thought it said "hot and sour", which is a pretty common Asian soup, but no, it's picante and peppery.
