1- By any chance you paid for it with a visa credit? Most visa cards extends your original warranty by 12 month! Check with your bank
2- Check if this issue (Reddit, Samsung forums) is a known defect for this model and if it is, there maybe already a warranty extension, a coupon code or any similar measure from Samsung. Good luck

Plus, I was prepared to pay cash, but Samsung Financing (through Affirm) offered 0% APR for 24 months. That is probably the longest term 0% offer I have ever seen through these kind of payment plans, so I couldn't turn down that "free money".
