Remember folks, HP means Hinges Problems, specially for 17 screens laptops, guaranteed it will break after a year.
Not necessarily. I have owned a computer repair business for over 20 years. While I will say that HP tends to be the lowest quality of the big brands, I cannot say they have more hinge problems than the rest. I repair hinge issues weekly, and every brand suffers about the same. As much as I hate Apple, I have never seen a broken MacBook hinge. Just did Lenovo ThinkBook, Toshiba Satellite, and Dell Inspiron hinge jobs this week actually. At least HP back covers and hinges are easier to find. I love Lenovo, but their parts are much harder to source and usually cost way more. Same with Asus.

I've learned that the hard way ! "HP stands for Hinge Problem"[tiktok.com]
Never again will I purchase an HP product. The last HP 17.3 laptop that I bought the casing material was incredibly cheap, it started disintegrating within months.
