Seems like a good value except for the sensitive front knobs. Not a model for a home with kids. https://www.lg.com/us/press-relea...ire-hazard
Get an induction... All the benefits of gas without the drawbacks of gas or conventional electric. Instant temperature changes, the heat does not come up around the pots, the cooktop top does not get red hot, the surface does not get food baked on and it's easy to keep clean. You won't look back.
Some people just like gas ranges. Our house came with a $10k jennair gas range and can see the appeal behind it. Everything was easy to fix as well with no electronics part. Then when we moved to a new build it came with a standard range like the LG one here but ended up upgrading to an induction range. It's a night and day difference between the standard and induction. To this day both my wife and I prefer our induction range with air fryer over the jennair/gas ranges. It heats up stuff just as fast if not faster than gas, easy to clean, surface cools down in seconds after cooking, and lastly no need to worry about gas leaks.
anyways after using both, I am not even sure I'd use a standard range even if it's given to me for free.

Thanks for posting OP. For anyone interested, might be worth while to read the reviews. Many reviewers talk about the sensitive knobs easily turning to hot (100% heat) setting.

Any reason why? I'm in the market for electric stove. Don't want to get something I would regret

Because low IQ people are incapable of using it. Go back to starting fire with sticks. Tech is too tough.

After living in rentals with smoothtop electric stoves I've unplugged the cord and just place two portable induction cooktops on top and a ninja foodi xl oven

Has saved me a tremendous amount of time in the kitchen with how fast I can cook/preheat.

Definitely agree, induction is much better. However, you need to check the breaker requirements, some induction ranges require a 60 Amp breaker. Also, you need to make sure your pots and pans work with induction.
