Integra is Onkyo premium line. Like Marantz is Denon premium line.
Of course this goes back on sale after I drop $1K on the Onkyo RZ50 🥲
Probably not. Enjoy what you have.

I'm with you. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'm sure a lot of people on this thread have the receivers behind glass or hidden.

IMO the pics of the AVR show the silver being notably brighter than it is in person -- on mine at least it is really like a darkish gun-metal color. That said mine is behind glass (which makes it even less noticeable).

The 797 does not offer Dirac, you have to go to the 7100 for that.

Here is a comparison between this and the 797 that should help.

"If anyone is near..or can get to .one of the Magnolia Home Theater/Best Buy stores that are pulling out their Magnolia
I think I saw this unit yesterday for about $1050
Additionally, the Denon X4800 was $1020 and the Denon X3800 was $679"

The 3800 for $100 more is worlds better than this!!!

World's better is your opinion, I passed on it and it was sitting in front of me
The Integra is also a bit easier to obtain

That's true, let's see $679 and have everything the RZ70 has(and more)!

IMO heck of a deal, I dont know of anything that can touch that for the price!

I'd definitely pick up a Denon X4800 for $1020

Was eyeing the RZ50 but for almost half the price this might be the move.

For me I would grab the Cinema 50 for $30 more!
I've always preferred both brands but Marantz was never worth the higher cost.

FYI if you're gonna use the pre outs, there is hardly any difference between the 3800 vs 4800 audible wise in my experience.
Depending on your setup and usage, the difference may not be that big even without it.

I think you hit the nail in on the head with "IMO"...and as I have said many times opinions dont have to have anything to do with facts

It certainly does not align with my ownership experience of the Onkyo RZ50 and Pioneer LX805...

I have owned several Denon and Marantz products over the last several years..in fact the prior couple of flagship Denon AVR's and Marantz prepros

I personally think I would have been hard pressed to tell them apart and most likely could not have in a double blind( sans the separate amp capability of what I had connected to the Marantz pre pro)
I suspect they build them right along side each other with the biggest difference being the looks

With the recent acquisition of Sound United by Harman from Masimo ...and in light of the poor financials of Sound United...I personally dont see why they would keep both brands around anymore

Sounds United was dropping and dropping in sales year over year and losing millions every quarter

I cant imagine Harman International wont stop that bleeding of financials , whatever it takes

Check to see if you have Best Buy stores with closing Magnolia Home Theaters in your area

You cant tell online, but if you see several open box items available online that would be magnolia items in the same store, that is a very good indicator

If your local store has it then that should be the price. Here and AVS forums people seem to be getting the same clearance pricing across the country

You need to go into the store and the price on the item will not be what it rings up, if you are at a magnolia that is closing

There also several other items..B&W speakers. Martin Logan speakers, SVS subs etc, KEF

Curiously no Yamaha AVR's though. Maybe Yamaha just had them ship them back to them versus blowing them out at the store level

Well depends on your prospective.
For double the price over this. you get pretty much everything the $2k RZ70(& more) gives you.
Pre outs negate power difference and A1EVO negates Dirac.
Thats a lot of value imo!
That perspective makes the Denon X6800 and Marantz Cinema 30 seems grossly overpriced
