Yes I don't trust target anymore for sales,same thing happened on Black Friday and cyber Monday after using their coupons it was actually cheaper on BB and Walmart without any coupons.
How do you use the QR code? In person?
I used to volunteer with our local children's hospital and we would do big events every month or two where people could swap old seats for new ones. They did a lot of smaller events too. People who weren't able to bring the kid to an event were usually allowed to head down to the hospital and do a quick swap without having to wait for another community event thing.
And yes, they were sponsored by Target.

Could wait for the next trade in later this year (it's a twice a year event) but the prices will likely go up from tariffs. One car seat company already announced their new prices because of them and it's like $150-$300 more depending on the product.

It can be hard to donate car seats and strollers. Goodwill and Salvation Army won't take them.
