They're glorified slippers, perfect for lazy days around the house or grocery store runs
I wouldn't exercise in them.
The ankle is pretty high and chaffes a little, but just a lil getting used is needed.

I also got these when they were $22 and I really like these shoes (I also got other shoes I like much less). I also have wider feet and think they are great as they have enough stretch that it's not uncomfortable, bought my usual size. I also really like exercising or walking in them, comfortable for both for me
