Apparently everyone else has car vents made of adamantium, mine can't handle the weight of a phone without deflecting or breaking.

But the fact that these have been around so long (plus suction cups and beanbags) is a pretty obvious sign the car industry is missing out on an obvious feature of a universal mounting point.

Got mine the other day. Well with the cost. Holds my iPhone 13 max with a fairly thick case & doesn't interfere with the buttons. Also like that there's a release that lets you remove your phone with one hand.
