Might be better to buy the M4 Macbook Air 15" with 16GB for $1249. Less RAM, but newer processor and more monitor support and $100 less.

The M3 Macbook Air supports two external displays if the lid is closed. Or one external display and the internal display.
The M4 Macbook Air supports two external displays and the internal display simultaneously.

Keep in mind that as more LLM models and applications that use them, 24 GB RAM is very smart to future proof one's needs. RAM cannot be upgraded on any MacBooks.
