Can definitely confirm some glorious Walgreens employee flew too close to the sun on this one. The coupon appears to have disappeared into the ether like Homer Simpson backing into that bush (don't act like you don't know the one). Luckily I placed two orders on two separate accounts the day the coupon went live and both got filled before any farkery occurred.
The employee at the second store saw the coupon on the receipt and was like "They did a manufacturer's coupon?!?! I've never seen them do anything but adjust the price slightly for a sale" and I just said "they were... very briefly..." as I put on my sunglasses and rode off into the sunset to sit on my ass at my computer and drink a few of those deliciously discounted bad boys.
There aren't many things in life you can be sure of, but if there is one for me it's knowing that the last memory I'll have as I die of clogged arteries and heart failure, it'll be this one... knowing that I absolutely fleeced big Coke for the insubstantial but extremely significant (to me) amount of $9.98 (+ tax). I always felt my life had no meaning, and now I definitely still feel that but at least I got some very slightly less overpriced Coke to wash down the bitterness!
Hope y'all took my advice and got in on it if you wanted to. I'm about 90% sure this is the lowest Coke will ever be from here on out
