This is a phenomenal monitor but be warned, the coating is *VERY* soft and will scratch easily.

I strongly suggest only ever touching the screen with a *BRAND NEW* microfiber cloth and heavily applied alcohol free lens cleaner after using an air duster and putting the panel on its back.

Doing anything else will lead to micro scratches. Which honestly are probably inevitable regardless.
I was one of the first to get the AW3423DW in 2022 and had to pay the premium $1300 to get it. For this deal I have the 10% dell coupon plus $100 cashback though Amex and 15% cb from a popular site. So tempting but I can't stomach selling my AW3423DW for a fraction of what I paid.

Thanks- I saw the C4, but it also has to be great for business apps, productivity. Some of the reviews had it ranked low. Would it have built-in corrections for OLED burn-in?

Sometimes I don't game for many days and have a static desktop.

Yea the text clarity is worrisome. Is it because of the ppi?

It does have some type of oled care, I forget the exact way they do it though.

I got this monitor in January for ~$800 after cb and use it daily. I use it as my solo work monitor with a logitech cam perched above, and use it with my PS5. Only pain in the buns is my dell tb3 docking station doesn't support anything above 60hz, so I had to ditch it and am currently using a $30 usbc hub that outputs up to 4k@144hz. Love this monitor

Possibly, for 675 without CC and just cb and codes. Not bad

Common problems is the flickering which is kinda situational and then the screen being susceptible to micro scratches .

Lol then there's some dude on here that's basically having a meltdown while he's rambling to himself about a whole host of random issues with it.

Half this thread is him complaining, lol.

I bought this monitor in BF 2024. Awesome display. To this day, I'm still blown away at the image quality.

they're all legit issues. monitors aren't supposed to pop and cash back isn't supposed to show up for some and not others, so both things legit issues. What a shocker another day went by with no cash back. Was obvious it was never going to show up and the site telling me tow ait 7 days,...

Also, what is anyone even using the rewards on? That is the next problem is most people likely won't have anything else to buy from dell because they ridiculously let rewards expire.

What would you all recommend for a 27" monitor that is primarily used for work, not gaming. The most important feature to me is anti-glare as I struggle with overhead lighting on with my current monitor. I currently have a 4k IPS LED display; and a peer of mine who has the same model complains of the low refresh rate and the value of getting a higher refresh rate so i'd like to take that into consideration too. Budget is $300-500. USB C preferred as connects to a MAC Book today and also has some USB A ports on the monitor to act as a hub.

If someone has already researched it (I scrolled through 4 pages here and did not find anyone commenting on this), does this have the new subpixel architecture for the 3rd gen newest Samsung panel?

Edit: Separately, I googled it and it seems it is the third gen panel, but curious if someone has had any experience and can confirm.

The absolute newest panel is 4th gen and that is on the 2025 qd models (which are mostly 27 inches so far, but a couple 32 inch ones). This one is 2024 so should have 3rd gen. Would be nice if on some of the newer stock they start using the 4th gen even though it's 2024 ones! I bet they won't, but who knows. Samsung themselves used 2nd gen panels on some of their s90c tvs when it originally had 1st gen, so always possible.

No clue how anyone got that CB site to work out. Luck, I guess. If they end up not correcting it for me and say it's invalid due to coupon I may have to just return and wait for a future deal.

You are right. I meant to say the 2025 new Samsung updated subpixel panels that are slightly better for work (texts) and gaming - it would be the 4th not 3rd gen panels. Since launch, I have been tracking MSI MPG 322URX and there hasnt been any material discount.

I am noticing that text is not as crisp on this as the 27 inch asus and I assumed it was all due to size, but maybe 4th gen was part of the asus being clearer text. Very tough to decide if size is more important to me or if text clarity is.

Good luck to anyone on that CB site. What a joke. I just ordered a mattress that cost over $2k and I disabled everything related to ad blocking, cookie blocking, etc... and yet again so far i havent gotten an email saying i'd get CB.

Monitor still popping too and I've never witnessed electronics with this cheap of plastic. If you feel around the edges of it, it feels very, very cheap. The asus felt and looked nicer. But so far this one is not bothering my head as much so I may be forced to keep it, although exchange for one not popping.

Gen 3 (the prior year panels) generally have a different subpixel structure, making text look a bit weird. Gen 3 were great for gaming, less ideal for productivity where one stares at font all day (like I do). For this year lineup (the smaller 27 inch version from ASUS ROG, that MSI model I mentioned) they introduced a new subpixel architecture and it made things a bit better.

sadly, I probably have no choice, because so many monitors hurt my head. Very frustrating. Since this one isn't hurting it I may be forced to keep having the worse text. This one is still doing those annoying popping noises, though.
