I have this monitor, paid about this much for it around January. It's incredible. No issues so far. No regrets.

I purchased this monitor back in January and am now on my 4th one that has issues. The monitor is absolutely stunning when it works.

*New* Monitor 1: Would not turn on at all after about a week.
*New* Monitor 2: Would not stop trying to pixel shift and could not complete its task. This started after I updated the firmware since the monitors joystick was not working and I hoped that would fix the problem. There was no way to bypass it or make it stop attempting to do this.
*Refurb* Monitor 3: Worked for a few days and would not power on. Would power back on for a couple days only if I unplugged it then plugged it back in. Then it stopped working altogether.
*Refurb* Monitor 4: Same issues as #3

I've spent hours troubleshooting with Dell support because I truly want to think it's something I'm doing wrong. But all I'm doing is plugging the monitor in... with exception to monitor #2 when I updated the firmware.

I have never had this run of bad luck with a product ever before and as much as I loved the monitor when it worked and the fact that my "net" price was just under $700 after cb making it a great deal... I just don't have the heart to try for a 5th time. It would seem many other people did not have my poor luck based on the prior posts but I'm absolutely done with this model.

Ouch, that sucks! I hope some day you will find a monitor that loves you back, you deserve it!

I too picked up this monitor a few months at the same price. Its stand is solid and it has excellent tilt and height adjustment capabilities to raise or lower the monitor on the stand. Very, very nice. Especially if you're in a room with weird lighting or a window that you like to derive some illumination from. The screen has that glassy look when off. Makes colors pop more when on (my opinion). Some folks prefer the flat mat screen monitors for antiglare reasons.

I bought mine from Dell. Used a capital one shopping app coupon offer to get 11.5% CB. Takes three months to get it though, which blows. You have to use their portal to the vendor as well as making sure "the deal" is activated (as indicated in the top corner of the app, along with taking a screenshot of the details that show it's activated in case you have to dispute some part of it with capital one by email, because that's how they roll). Also, by cashback, they mean you get fun bucks for access to a limited selection of vendor gift cards. Such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Omaha steaks, Macy's, PetSmart and Barnes & Noble. No Amazon. No WalMart… No Jones BBQ & Foot Massage.

Signed up for Dell Rewards, which sometimes offers an extra points multiplier and an in-house financing sign-up bonus Dell Rewards points offer, which I did not have to use for the purchase. It was a lot of effort, but it racked up about $105 in Dell Bucks.

So, if you're willing to go the distance for some cashback credit at retailers, you may not normally shop with. Then you too, can get the nut down on this splendiferous fine gaming monitor.
