Wow! This listing for the same drill has an MSRP of $49.99 instead of $113. And the only difference between them is the set of bits. Those must be some really nice bits.

Resist…Resit…Resit…You don't need another Ryobi drill regardless how cheap it is unless you don't already have one.
Bought it just for the battery, came with a free drill and drill bits

I have a very old Ryobi brushed motor drill that still works fine. I upgraded to a brushless motor that came in a pair with a brushless driver. Lots more power and longer runtime with the brushless setup, but the basic one is still pretty good.

I love the keyless chuck (like on this one) and torque driver (not on this one). The torque driver adjustment is very useful and wouldn't recommend a drill without one. I'm sure this is a very solid drill, but I'd get one with a torque limiter/driver setup. Very much worth it.

This is the kind of drill and equipment that gives Ryobi a bad name, don't buy non-brushless motors in 2025. I love Ryobi and have many tools, but I wouldn't waste money on this.
Wait for a deal on a brushless drill from almost any supplier (Ryobi, Skil 12v, Craftsman, Hart... are all good budget brands that get on slickdeals often)

Web page says "Mother's Day Special" ... If I bought this for mother, she would use it on me.

Many many different ones. You just have to find the right one you need.

My metabo brushless drill got chuck issues (the bits come loose after some time) due to my hard use on mixing. I got ryobi batteries.

Thinking if going from brushless to this would be a downgrade but how much degree it would be..

I'd skip this and go for something with a clutch.

Is this good enough for putting up mirrors and framed art? I'm not looking to build a house
