I see these fan deals all the time. Are they worth it? Are they worth the money? I mean I don't need batteries I have tons but was wondering how good the fans were.

They aren't hp batteries, so I'm not sure they are valued at $10/ah ... let's say the batteries are worth $50, the chargers at least ryobi are not in demand, and the fan which is fine I'm sure are realistically about as good as the $25 bauer / hercules fans. So if you just want a fan, or fans ... I would probably get some dewalt / ridgid batteries and some Bauer adapters.... or Hercules 5ah batteries are actually quite cheap on ebay .. (2) 5ah generally go for $50.

I like mine. I have a milwaukee braur and ryobi fans. The ryibi works the best for me . 4h ah battery will run it medium all night no issues when camping and can plug straight into ac plug also

I have two of these fans, definitely a good product.

Got two of the fan misters for $99 last year. This doesn't seem like a deal.

I used these and the 4ah batteries when my power went out for a week. They run through the night on low using half a battery. The misting works great in the summer too with a 5 gal bucket. I have two of them and I would definitely recommend.

I think that's about how much I paid, possibly with a hack tho.

Got this for somewhere around $25-30 last year after the battery "hack". Absolutely love this fan, will definitely pick up another one if a hackable deal comes back. Usually use it plugged in, but if I use a battery, a 4ah normal battery will last close to 2 full nights on 1 speed and is fairly quiet.

Oh man. Not to sound like such a fanboy but of all my Ryobi tools, I think I use this one the MOST. I've had one for about 2 years now and it is a WORKHORSE for me. In the winter it's ULTRA convenient to slap a battery in and plop it down by the doorway to dry off wet boots and the carpet overnight and never have to worry about tripping hazard. I'm ALWAYS cleaning something-or-other (toys, vacuum filters, machine parts, etc) and it's super convenient to be able to just flip it on, turn it so it's facing up and just leave whatever I'm drying right on top of it. Especially useful for kids' shoes and wet gloves. In the summer I actually use it to light charcoal faster and get campfires roaring. It's a great little device, I highly recommend. It's kind of a real pain to take apart & clean, so it's not meant to be serviced, but I do it anyway, I'm gonna keep this running as long as humanly possible.
