I don't trust lifetime things, even though pCloud has been around a while now. I have a "lifetime" plan from Zoolz that got discontinued after like 3 years.

I use Crashplan. Backblaze is a good alternative too.

Yes, I can't believe "lifetime" storage deals are still so common, I get emails from Stacksocial about them almost daily. Most companies take your money, then mysteriously "fail" after a few years.

That said, pCloud is pretty big, and I've had a lifetime 500GB plan I bought like 8 years ago still going strong. I personally would trust buying another plan, if I needed it.

"Lifetime" means lifetime of the company or until the devs want to make more money. Lol
