Almost 2 months ago I saw a refund form on an Andes Mint display at my local grocery store. I figured, why not, as I had not had it in a while. Basically, buy 2, get refunded for 1 of them.
Just got the refund check in the mail yesterday. It was for a WHOPPING $0.49 cents. A search on the internet found at least 1 other person that this happened to. If I had ever known that this is all I would have gotten, I would not have wasted my time and money on this product and the refund effort.
I plan on contacting the grocery store I purchased the candy from to not only try to get a refund from them but to encourage them to NO LONGER STOCK a product from a company that DEFRAUDS their consumers.
Did you try to contact the Andes company or the company who does their rebates?
I don't see why the store should refund you and they are certainly not going to consider not stocking the product. I love Andes and wouldn't stop eating them based on your post. I don't believe they are really trying to defraud people.
<Patagonian maras, not quite as awesome as capybaras.
Sir, I asked you not to play the song again, didn't I?
