TVs with Roku OS have that option available under the input section. Power on to the last input used.

Settings > System > Power > Power on.

pricematching best buy's father's day sale (through monday)..ugh this, or spring the $300 more for the pro..

edit: I'm also seeing an additional offer: "Get 15% back with your Prime Store Card. Limited-time offer." details: https://www.amazon.com/l/17985366...B0CLFBSJLP
seems like it's only valid on the 55" and 75" plus models, and not actually on the pro?
edit2: was able to filter, and it's just a handful of models, although it's actually saying a whopping 25% back on the 65" pro model (but it doesn't show up on the page) https://www.amazon.com/l/12197469...1974694011
edit3: not sure what was going on, but clicking through the promotion page multiple times eventually did show it on the product page when switching to the 75", and also showed up in checkout after trying several times. took a couple screenshots just in case, but got the 75" pro coming next wedenesday, wooo. can't beat $600 (plus tax), thanks op! sort of lol

I wish i could just buy a tv without roku or fire or anything just with inputs and when I turned it on instead of booting up it would just load the previously selected input.

As other say, it already does that. I have all mine setup like you mentioned. The important thing is don't connect the network/wifi, if you don't, the TV is much faster and behave like a regular tv. Also the loading time is only when you lose power, the rest of the time, power on it instant.

My C2 OLED starts right up without any loading time, and starts on the last input I had it on. In fact, even my previous cheap-ass piece of junk smart TV started right up, on whatever input I last had it on. Not sure what TV you've been using, Buck Rogers.

You could simply the internal OS. Delete as many apps as possible, turn off features and internet access then use an external streamer.
I have an upper-tier Sony TV and I finally realized that I'm sooooo much better with an external Android TV streamer.

This right here is the real deal. The Pro series are well regarded TVs, even if not matching anything near an OLED. At $600 after the cashback who could possibly complain though.

Would seriously consider buying one myself if I didn't have to go through the hassle of giving away or selling older smaller TVs to make space for this one.
