This is an inch bigger deck. I wouldn't go for larger than 1/4 acre.

I don't think so. This 17" does not have a brushless motor and is only 1" wider.
A noticeable upgrade would be to go to a mower with higher voltage (60v or 80v), brushless motor and 20"-21" deck.
Also, if you have Walmart Plus I think they will pick it up at your house if you decide to return it.
