Obviously you could build one for a little cheaper, but that's the purpose of pre built. It saves you time, and effort

Exactly. I built myself a pretty insane liquid cooled system with all the bells and whistles but for the people that don't want to deal with that stuff this is perfectly serviceable and reasonably priced. Keep in mind if you can build it yourself for the same price then you're essentially getting a system built with free labor. It's not a flaming hot deal, but I think it's a better deal than people are giving it credit for.

Chiming in to say that this is just a square deal. If you need a PC right now go for it.

Thought this case looked familiar. It's a rebranded 'Antec Performance 1 FT'... great case!

The 5080 Super'll be out in a couple of months, more VRAM, slightly faster, more power draw tho
The 7080 will be out in 2028, you should wait.

I didn't suggest they wait, I was just informing them.

There will always be a new GPU out in a few months and the price/performance curve of the entire GPU market will adjust accordingly - which is typically very little.

If you needed an incrementally better card than a 5080 right now, you could consider a 4090, or a top tier OC model 5080 with good (AIO) cooling.

Am I wrong when I think you could build this yourself cheaper? Although not a lot cheaper.

You are right I put a build together in Newegg

4080 and 90 are more expensive than 5080 that's the issue on the market
