The best price to date was that Walmart error for $799.99. Amazon matched it on time and there were a ton of people who were able to snag one, myself included. It's the best monitor I ever used. I highly recommend it.

My gut is: probably. It's way cheaper and since it's not OLED, it shouldn't have burn in, and since it's been running for 4 months, it's kind of been tested enough that you should see flickering/etc.

The downside is- does the floor/display model still have any kind of warranty?
Yes, same as new. 1 year from Samsung + another year from Costco. I kinda got lucky because I was looking for a cheap ultrawide for my multiple VM setup.

Let's just do 360" already and have the screen completely envelop you.

Shut up and take my money! 🤑

I'm sure your colleagues love it when you share your screen!
All you do is share a window (an app) rather than your whole screen. It's better for privacy anyway. I have the 57" and I'm on Teams Calls all day everyday. Including right now actually, (well 2 minutes ago).

My two 32 inch 4k 240hz OLEDs were cheaper. This is a lot for a VA panel.
Yeah, but neither of them are in the middle of your view. Both are off to the side. I did dual 28" 4k monitors for years and I always "favored" or had a main monitor, and there was always a big double plastic black line down the middle of my setup. Imagine your setup with your main window dead center and / or left side / right side whatever config you want. It's expensive, but there are some advantages.

Imagine F1 2025 with full path tracing on this beast of a monitor. Must resist. Already have a 49 ultrawide and it is wicked.

It depends, haha. I either share the entire screen which displays as three monitors or I share a specific file or browser page so it works out for everyone.

If you do need to share your entire screen and are context switching between a lot of windows like I do, I have a strange workaround where I use all three inputs and do three-way PBP mode, with the 16x9 ratio in the middle. This in conjunction with fancy zones. There are KVM switches in between all with remote buttons so lots of of wires LOL but totally worth it for me. There are software-based solutions I can share, but they were not very performant on my low spec work laptop.

This is a good deal, but the deal I got several weeks ago was slightly better. $1425 for the monitor and JBL headset worth around $200, but you have to have Samsung EPP. I would have pulled the trigger on this one if I knew no other good option existed.
Yeah. I got it for $1365 through Samsung EPP about a year back. Best monitor I've ever had and EPP deals are great if you can get them through your job.
