I've had this for about 3 months now. I use it as an extra productivity monitor (mostly for charts). It's perfectly fine for that. Zero complaints. I also use it for some CoD gaming on Xbox. It's fine for that too, but coming from an LG C4 42" it doesn't feel as immersive. OLED just looks better.

I will very likely switch back to the LG C4 when a good clearance deal happens. That said, there's nothing bad about this monitor, and if you're just using it as a productivity monitor, or casual gaming, it's a good option. At this price, it's a really good option.

Also check on best buy for open box excellent on these. I got one for $297. This monitor is amazingly bright to the point of the white being unbearable if you turn it too high, fast response for gaming and has inbuilt network features through the remote and wifi let you treat it like a network device that your phone and other devices can see.

Get a 42" LG C4 OLED (2025).. was $700ish few weeks ago. I got one and it's miles better than my old fast-IPS, let alone a VA panel in terms of the color, the brightness, the contrast, and the ghosting. I also came with a remote and built-in apps for internet TV, and decent speakers.

I have this there's not that many good cheapish 43-in TVs these days and I use this as a TV. Samsung Smart home UI runs pretty slow so this thing must have a slow CPU but It is functional. if you care about this note that this does not have a deinterlacer on it so you cannot feed it 1080i content from a TV box. I have an old TiVo that doesn't convert 1080i to 1080p that's why I know this. also if you care this supports wireless DAX from Samsung phones and such which can be nice in a pinch.
