Iirc, this was background text that should have been a Lorem Ipsum, but doesn't have any affect on gameplay. If that's enough to boycott the game, then that's your prerogative, but I don't think this replaces enough human work to justify it

Yeah I made this post and then looked it up, it seems like they've reportedly fixed it. I just think the AI being used to fill in the gaps on a game like this that had so much hype puts a bad taste in peoples mouths.

This is a very good game. A unique mix of adventure, survival, base and social management. I usually do not like survival games but this one is simple enough that it is done right for folks who don't enjoy hardcore survival mechanics. The dialogue options and base-management/survival choices you make with/for your Alters really makes a difference in the way the story progresses as well. Don't let dumb AI controversy sway you from playing a great game.
