and I thought it was a good deal back in May for $24.99 at Amazon. Nice light and battery. A similar battery from Coast will cost this much by itself.

Edit..maybe I'm wrong. 1lumens test comes back fairly accurate. I was expecting 800 lumens or less
Specified output 1400 lm
Measured output (30sec) 1241 lm
Max. measured output (turn on) 1363 lm
Specified beam distance 304 m
Measured beam distance (30sec) 303 m

I doubt that's anywhere near accurate but all these different brands heavily inflate the stated lumens
1600 lumens is equivalent to 100 watt light bulb. You narrow that into a beam and it's insanely bright.
Whatever the true lumens are I'm sure it's bright, but running on 2 AA batts it's not 1600 lumens
